The Indianapolis Colts will be without key pieces in their linebacking and defensive line groups.The Colts announced Tuesday afternoon that the team placed defensive tackle Al Woods and linebacker Skai Moore on Injured Reserve. The team also signed linebacker Tegray Scales and safety J.J. Wilcox. Moore was a promising prospect coming out of South Carolina Womens Peyton Manning Jersey , tallying 353 tackles (213 solo), 20.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 20 passes defensed, 14 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. The Colts signed Moore to a free agent deal after he went undrafted. Moore appeared in nine games — including one start — and put together four solo tackles. The Colts have chosen not to.Why not? It could be that Luck and Colts owner Jim Irsay reached an agreement not to make it messy, because Luck did have leverage: If he had wanted to, he could have simply told the team’s medical staff that he wanted to play but the leg injury that has kept him out of the preseason was too painful for him to play on, and that he needed to go on injured reserve, which would have allowed him to collect his full salary this year without playing. Luck did the honorable thing, and so the Colts aren’t going to fight him.
