He was hurt in practice on Thursday with a high-ankle sprain, and the team was performing an MRI on it today to get a more accurate diagnosis. Regardless of the results, Irving is already ruling himself out for Monday night.It’s another blow to Irving’s season which has been disrupted by suspension, family issues and now injury. He has only appeared in two games this season and will miss at least one more game. The Cowboys were hoping that once Irving was over the initial four-game suspension that he could come in and be a force at defensive tackle, creating a push in the pocket that would disrupt quarterbacks and running backs alike.
