ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - No price was too high for Terry Pegula and wife Kim if it meant keeping the Bills in Buffalo, and preserving late Hall of Fame owner Ralph Wilsons legacy.Having difficulty keeping his emotions in check during an introductory news conference on Friday, Pegula was humbled to succeed Wilson as the Bills owner, and outlined his reasons for spending an NFL-record $1.4 billion to buy the team.I want to ask the fans if I overpaid. I know what theyre going to tell me, Pegula said. We can all have many things in life. We can buy a house. We can buy a car. If you have enough money, theres 32 football teams. And theres only one Buffalo Bills. The Pegulas were formally ushered in as owners two days after their bid was approved unanimously by NFL owners. And theyll get their first chance to watch the Bills play from the owners box on Sunday, when Buffalo (3-2) hosts AFC East rival New England (3-2).Ralphs 54 years, how do you follow that act? Its tough, Pegula said. Its going to be an amazing experience.Wilson was the teams founder and sole owner until he died in March, opening questions of whether the team might be sold and eventually relocated.Pegula, who also owns the NHLs Buffalo Sabres, shared those same concerns and wanted to guarantee the franchises future in western New York. And yet he acknowledged still being floored by how Bills fans reacted once the Pegulas reached an initial agreement to buy the team early last month.I was humbled by all you fans, and the outpouring of emotion that I saw when our name was announced as the winning bid, Pegula said. I could not believe the pent-up fear of losing the team that was released by you, the fans. The Pegulas beat out several competing bidders, including New York City real estate mogul Donald Trump, and a Toronto-based group led by rocker Jon Bon Jovi. Bon Jovis group raised concerns over whether it had an intention to buy the team and eventually relocate it north of the border. The 63-year-old Pegula grew up in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, graduated from Penn State, and made his fortune selling his Marcellus Shale natural gas drilling rights for $4.7 billion to Royal Dutch Shell in 2010. Hes a long-time Sabres fan and bought the team in February 2011.Pegula intends to keep Russ Brandon as Bills president. He failed, however, to define how he and his wife will split ownership duties.Without going into detail, he added there have been preliminary discussions about the possibility of building a new stadium, including a potential downtown site.Brandon welcomed the Pegulas, and believes Wilson would be pleased with the transition.I could envision Ralph with his legendary fist pump, saying, Job well done. Its been a great ride, Brandon said. Now the ride belongs to Terry and Kim Pegula. Its time to create their own memories and define the Pegula family legacy for generations to come.Pegula first teared up about a minute into his introductory speech, when he stopped in mid-sentence before saying, I knew this was going to happen. Pegula then said: We all just bought the team. Our team. The Buffalo Bills.Pegula noted that he grew up rooting for the Detroit Lions. And he said he was well aware that Wilson owned a small share of the team, which he had to relinquish in order to establish the Bills as an American Football League franchise in 1959.Though he never met Wilson, Pegula did recall watching the Bills in the 1960s. Pegula became an even bigger fan in the 1980s, when he based his natural gas company in Olean, New York, and began regularly attending Bills games.Owning a professional team is about winning. And the primary goal of our ownership will be to win the Super Bowl, to bring championships to the city of Buffalo, Pegula said. Myself and my family will dedicate ourselves to that.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and http://twitter.com/AP_NFL Moses Malone Jersey .TV Series: Duck Dynasty. Ben Simmons Jersey . Wheeler said Kane was just making a joke that was misunderstood and misinterpreted by "Winnipeg folks" and the media once again. Wheeler repeated that he believes Kane is a player who has the ability to help the Jets get to the next level as they try once again to reach the playoffs in 2014. He made the comments initially in an interview, when asked how the Jets could compete in the Central Division with teams that have made some high-profile off-season signings. Julius Erving Jersey . Spieth, who won the Australian Open last week by six shots thanks to a final- round 63, finished 54 holes at 20-under-par 196. The Texas native established a new 54-hole scoring record with his total of 196. Padraig Harrington set the old mark of 197 at Sherwood Country Club in 2002. Thats the lowest score Ive ever shot after three rounds, Spieth admitted. It was great. I couldnt ask for a better start. From there, I was trying to stay patient, hit as many greens as possible and get some birdie putts, but tried not to be too aggressive. Keegan Bradley, the 2012 runner-up, carded a 7-under 65 and he moved into a share of second place at minus-13. He was joined there by Henrik Stenson, who posted a 4-under 68 while playing alongside Spieth. Patrick Reed shot a 3-under 69 and ended alone in fourth at 11-under-par 205. Justin Rose is one stroke back at minus-10 after a 2-under 70 at Isleworth Golf & Country Club. Jason Day also posted a 70 and is alone in sixth at 8-under 208. Two-time winner Graeme McDowell (68), Matt Kuchar (70), Bubba Watson (72) and Rickie Fowler (72) are tied for seventh place at minus-7. Tournament host Tiger Woods had his best round of the week despite being sick. Woods, who vomited on the course, mixed six birdies and three bogeys in his round of 3-under 69. That moved him to even-par 216, but he is still in last place in the 18-player field. Woods birdied the first, then traded a bogey for a birdie from the sixth. He converted another birdie at the 12th, but stumbled to bogeys at 13 and 15 to slip back to plus-3. Woods closed his round with three straight birdies to end at even-par. It wasnt easy. I fought hard, its about all I had, said a raspy-voiced Woods. I wasnt doing too good in the beginning. I thought I could hang in there. If this fever just broke, I thought Id be alright and it finally broke on the frontt nine.dddddddddddd. Spieth finished his second round earlier in the day after a long weather delay on Friday pushed things back. He got up and down for par at the 18th to close out a 5-under 67. Really big (to get up and down). Really awkward to just come out and hit a chip shot. We showed up a few minutes before I was going back out there, Spieth explained. I hit a couple chips and putts. I think it was the right decision and obviously it worked out. The 21-year-old rolled in a 20-footer for birdie at the first. Spieth followed with birdies at two and three, both from inside seven feet, to move to 14- under. Spieth got up and down for birdie on the par-5 seventh, and he was four clear of Bradley at that point. Around the turn, Spieth hit the flag with his approach shot at the 10th and his ball stopped four feet from the hole. He rolled that in for birdie, then notched back-to-back kick-in birdies at 12 and 13. Spieths approach at the 14th stopped 12 feet from the hole and he drained that for his third straight birdie. After three pars in a row, Spieth poured in a long birdie effort at the 18th to set a new tournament scoring record. Bradley birdied the first two holes, but gave a shot back when he bogeyed the third. He ran off four consecutive birdies from the seventh to jump to minus-11. Bradley moved to 13-under with birdies at 15 and 16. Ive just been dialed in all week. I just played so good the first day and only shot even-par, so its good to see some scores coming in, said Bradley, who switched to a standard length putter this week. This is probably the best three days of putting Ive had in a couple years. Stenson played the front nine in even-par with a bogey on the third and a birdie on the ninth to go with seven pars. Around the turn, he birdied the 11th, 13th, 15th and 17th to join Bradley in second place. NOTES: Spieths only PGA Tour win was at the 2013 John Deere Classic ... Defending champion Zach Johnson managed an even-par 72 and he slipped into 11th place at 6-under-par 210.
