Prescott already saw his market enjoy an uptick after Russell Wilson’s deal, and Cooper could soon see a similar increase in his own market as two other star receivers near extensions.Dak Prescott: Randall Cobb is a ‘very fortunate add’ to roster - Patrik Walker, 247 SportsOne of the more high profile moves the Cowboys made this summer was adding Randall Cobb to upgrade the slot receiver position. There’s been rumblings about the quick chemistry that has formed between Cobb and Dak Prescott, and on Tuesday Dak expanded upon how valuable his new weapon has been. The Jury Should Remain out on Dak Prescott, Potential $34M Contract - Brad Gagnon Tony Pollard Jersey , Bleacher ReportLast week it was reported that Dak Prescott’s agent has “broached” the idea of a $34 million average salary for the quarterback’s next contract, and while some have argued that it’s simply the price you pay for franchise quarterbacks, others think it’s still a bit of a head-scratcher.QB2 behind Dak Prescott one of Cowboys biggest mysteries - Todd Brock, Cowboys WireMuch of the talk around the quarterback position in Dallas this offseason is about Dak Prescott’s contract extensions talks, but people should be paying more attention to the backup situation. Cooper Rush and Mike White are competing for the spot, and there could be another player joining the fray soon, too.Going deep on defense in this Cowboys’ roster projection - Todd Archer, ESPNUntil training camp and the preseason roll around, it’ll be hard to really get an idea of what the Cowboys’ final roster could look like. Still, ESPN’s Todd Archer takes his best guess at a roster projection that highlights the competition at backup quarterback.Mailbag: The Front-Runners At Wide Receiver? - Bryan Broaddus and Rob Phillips, DallasCowboys.comOne of the more interesting position battles this offseason is at the wide receiver position. Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and Randall Cobb are the three locks https://www.dallascowboysfanshop.com/Connor-Mcgovern-Jersey , but there’s a host of other players fighting for spots, and questions about how many receivers Dallas will keep.Kerry Hyder already proving he’s a key acquisition for Cowboys - Patrik Walker, 247 SportsLost in all the news about DeMarcus Lawrence’s big contract extension and the trade for Robert Quinn is the free agent signing of Kerry Hyder. While not a household name, Hyder offers some upside and has been impressing in practices thus far. He’s certainly a name to watch going forward. Awful. Just plain awful. Ask any Cowboys fan about the game versus the Colts and that would be the likely answer, once you censored out all of the swearing. There is just not much good to say about a game where the Cowboys lose 23-0. We’ll have to stretch the definition of “game ball” this week, but not too much. One guy was still a warrior out there and gave it everything he had. Ezekiel Elliott just doesn’t quit. A week after he had 40 touches, he lead the Cowboys on offense, in fact, he was basically their offense. He carried the ball 18 times for 87 yards. While falling short of 100 yards, he did average a healthy 4.8 yards per carry. Additionally, Zeke had seven catches (on eight targets) for 41 yards. That’s 128 yards from scrimmage on a day when the offense had only 292 yards. It wasn’t just the yards, but it was the physical nature of his running. He was not to be denied. Several times he was stopped short of a first down only to use his legs and churn out a conversion. In fact, the physical nature of his running Trysten Hill Jersey , including another hurdle over a defender where he ended up getting pounded, is starting to take its toll. Zeke was noticeably limping at a point in the second half. He is starting to ask out of games more and more. He is giving everything he has and it’s starting to catch up with him. The Cowboys are reliant on Zeke, and he doesn't shy away from that. In an awful game, Ezekiel Elliott demonstrated he was ready for action, unlike the rest of his team.As an honorable mention, let’s throw out some kudos to Dalton Schultz and Blake Jarwin. The tight end role is finally starting to matter again. Schultz had three catches for 23 yards and Jarwin had four catches for 45 yards. It wasn’t a tremendous output, but following up on last week’s game, they are showing they can add to this Cowboys offense. Otherwise, there wasn’t much to like about the Cowboys on Sunday.
