They use a variation of the Burton Union system for brewing, an old oaken barrel fermentation system that only two brewers in the world utilize to this day for commercial brewing. This gives their beers a distinct characteristic in a market full of similar brewing styles.Firestone Walker is an easy favorite for me, touting aggressive IPAs in their Leo V. Ursus line and their Luponic Distortion series.
