Nose tackle Phil Taylor Sr. has re-signed with the Washington Redskins after missing the past three NFL seasons with injuries.

The Redskins announced Tuesday that they are bringing back the 6-foot-3 Lorenzo Alexander Jersey , 343-pound Taylor.

Taylor, who turns 30 on Saturday Lane Taylor Jersey , needed season-ending surgery last year after tearing his left quadriceps tendon in a preseason game for Washington. He had been slated to start at nose tackle.

That was just the latest in a series of health issues for Taylor. He hasn’t played a down in a regular-season game since 2014.

He had 59 tackles and four sacks as a rookie with the Cleveland Browns in 2011, appearing in all 16 games. But he has played in only 28 games since.

The Oakland Raiders will likely look to add some defensive help in rounds two and three on the second day of the NFL draft.

After taking tackle Kolton Miller and trading for receiver Martavis Bryant on the opening day Kevin Hogan Jersey , the Raiders could use help on defense Friday night with the 41st and 75th overall picks.

The Raiders added two picks while moving down five spots in the first round before taking Miller 15th overall and then dealt one of those picks to Pittsburgh for Bryant.

Oakland also has nine picks on Day 3, giving them the opportunity to use some of those selections to move up on Friday if they are targeting a specific player.
